Hey there, we’re Dr. Krysti Wick and Dr. Jake Grinaker,
co-founders of The Pursuit Consulting.
We each have our own path and stories of how we got here (see below). After working together for many years prior in another company, we decided in 2023 that our happiest times in coaching were when we were amplifying each other’s strengths and co-crafting messages that made change for Docs—thus the Pursuit was born. We partner in teaching and mentoring DCs to bring the most value (and fun) possible to our clients.

More about Dr. Krysti
Over the past 17 years Dr. Krysti has built a multi-million dollar business empire with a 7-figure cash family practice at its core. As her practice (and other passion projects turned business ventures) grew, so did her desire to help other chiropractors reach their true potential.
Dr. Krysti is known for her incredible coaching and leadership skills, as well as her design acumen which lends itself to helping Docs design the life and practice of their dreams as well as into her local home decor store and real estate ventures.
After 5+ years of running her sought after program, The Illuminated Squad, and hosting life changing events for women in the profession, she decided to team back up with Dr. Jake to continue her pursuit of helping DC's hone their inner strength and build the practice that aligns with their vision.
When she’s not helping DCs shatter glass ceilings and channel emotional breakthroughs, you can find her prioritizing an incredible family life with her husband, Joe, and their children, Keaton and Kyla. You also might find her redecorating something, jamming to old school hip hop, soaking up some lake time, or cheering on her kids on the football or horse show sidelines.

Before co-founding The Pursuit, Dr. Jake Grinaker spent 16 years building a world-class 7-figure all cash, multiple location Chiropractic practice in the heart of North Dakota. He also launched Strive Capital, a real estate investment syndicate dedicated to helping chiropractors pass on the sacred trust by investing back into chiropractic.
He will be the first to tell you that his most important roles are follower of Christ, incredibly lucky husband to Brittany, and a proud dad of Merik, Ryker, Finnley and Crosby.
Dr. Jake loves helping clients understand how to follow the call of serial entrepreneurship while remaining present in their lives, how to light the fire within themselves while honoring what’s most important to them, and how to forge a legacy to be proud of.
When he’s not inspiring Docs to break free of their self imposed limitations and reach for the stars, you can find him at the lake with his family, watching his kids pursue their dreams, and trying to suck less at golf.
